Christmas Day {12.25.11}

Santa found his way to our house and left us some really fun things!  We slept in until about 8:00am when Kaylee woke us up.  She was wanting breakfast until I reminded her that Santa came last night.  Then she was both excited and nervous.  She walked out into the front room so slowly as if she didn't know what to do.  When she saw Allie crawl to her toys and start playing Kaylee ran to hers and was all smiles.

We opened everything up then went to Nana and Papa's for a quick but yummy breakfast before we went to church with them too.  After church we went to my parent's house for lunch and gifts.  Kaylee was ecstatic she got to open even more presents and Allie was happy to have more paper to tear apart.

This year for my parents all the siblings went in on tickets to the Tuacahn shows for 2012, Aladdin and Hairspray.  To make the gift giving a little more exciting I made up a scavenger hunt to find pieces to a puzzle that then gave them clues to their gift.  I think they enjoyed it and were super excited for them.  They don't go until October however.

It was a fairly low key day as Brennen wasn't feeling well so we just relaxed at our house for the rest of the day.  It was fun having our own personal family time.  I actually enjoyed having Christmas on Sunday.  It was nice going to church and feeling the spirit and remembering our Savior's birth.  Merry Christmas!
