Allie's FIRST Birthday {1.6.12}

My little baby girl turned one!  I can't believed I have enjoyed every single month of one year with her already.  She's my little sweet string bean.  She's content with basically anything, gives the sweetest smiles, and loves to give kisses.  She loves to snuggle and she makes our family of 4 pretty perfect.  We love our "Allie Goose" as Kaylee likes to call her.

Her birthday parties were fun and, unlike Kaylee at her first birthday, she enjoyed the attention, though I'm not quite sure she knew the attention was all hers.  On her actual birthday it was a pretty low-key day.  We started out with birthday breakfast on the "special red plate."

The girls played really well together.  They played "Animal Store" (basically getting all of Kaylee's stuffed animals out) in Kaylee's room.

And they loved climbing in and out of laundry baskets.

From a different day but still cute.

We baked the birthday girl's cake--yellow cake with vanilla frosting.

Kaylee was my super helper.

Allie too.

That night we celebrated with my family that lives in town.  Nothing spectacular--just cake and presents.

And boy oh boy did she LOVE her cake!

She started slow.

But got a little messier with each taste.

On Sunday we celebrated with the Fullers.  She loved all the attention and presents.

Kenzee was so sweet with Allie and even gave her one of her very own baby pillow pets.

She also loved her second round with cake...though I forgot to get the camera out again.  :(
