I'm not much of a Halloween fan. I'm not sure why but it's definitely not my favorite holiday, or in my top 5 really, but I do try to make it exciting and fun for Kaylee. I don't want to spoil her outlook on the holiday and I hope by trying to make it exciting for her I'll start to like the holiday more. Anyway, we celebrated Halloween to the fullest this year!
It started off with Kaylee's library class. She adores her library class. She loves everything about it--the stories, the songs, the crafts. I wish it was twice a week. For the last day of our 6-week class the teacher, Ms. Shoeman, told the kids to wear their costumes. Kaylee was super excited to wear her "scary tiger" costume and to see Rian's cute pumpkin costume.

Friday we supported my Alma Mater--Discovery Elementary's Halloween Carnival.
The PTA and volunteers did such a great job with the different games. We all had a blast. I think Kaylee's favorite was the hayride and fishing.

| Rian fishing. |

| Bean bag toss |
 |
| And it's good! |
 |
| The Jacoways--our trusty sidekicks for all of our Halloween festivities. |
We weren't allowed to wear masks at this carnival so we had to improvise with some face paint. I'm actually surprised that Kaylee let me do it, course she got to paint on my face first, but she let me do it.

| So annoyed I wanted a picture. |
 |
| Her cute tail that she LOVED. The shirt Brennen and I made. Not too bad for free-handing the stripes. |
Allie was the cutest duck around and missed out on the hayride because she left the carnival a bit early with Grandma to eat dinner.

| Allie adores her Aunt Cami. |
 |
| And of course her Grandma. |
Saturday we got dressed up again in our costumes and headed out the the Halloween Carnival by the Boys and Girls Club. Kaylee's black pants were dirty so she had gray tiger legs and I left Allie in her monkey jammies and called it good.
We had fun walking around to the different stations, practicing how to nicely say "trick-or-treat" and playing the fun games. Kaylee loved this frisbee one.

| Kaylee was super concerned about these sheep being colored. |
 |
| Dave, Kenzee aka Jessie, and Cass with Jessie's hat. |
 |
| Cole the chicken and Izzie aka Faun the fairy. |
There was a HUGE carved pumpkin at the carnival. It totally freaked Kaylee out. Ha ha ha.
By the end of all of these carnivals Kaylee had a load of candy and we still had the actual holiday to go!

The shirt you made for K turned out AWESOME! How fun to go to the carnivals. That'd beat trick-or-treating in the cold anytime.
Super cute pic of cams and allie. :)
Halloween was a lot of fun this year. Thanks for letting us hang with ya! You have the cutest tiger and ducky ever! (Love that Kaylee had her crafts holding hands.) :) I'll have to steal some pics of Ri.
Oh my gosh, how FUN!
