The 4th of July breakfast has become quite the anticipated tradition at our house. We invite all of my cousins and their families over and have a big get together. The kids love getting together and the adults love catching up with those we don't get to see as often as we would like.
| My friend Michele and her kids joined us. We were so glad she came. |
The spread was super delicious and I wish I would have taken a picture. We made super yummy red, white, and blue
Honeyville Grain pancakes. Only the best pancakes...ever! The kids loved them.
| Evan, though too small for pancakes, sure enjoyed his breakfast. |
Our breakfast turned into a fun morning outside to a fun afternoon outside. The kids played games,
| Inspecting the ants. |
| Ellie eating a red pancake and playing ladder golf. |
| Ethan jumping off the slide. |
built sandcastles or "Bug-catraz",
| Kaylee's strange new face she makes when the cameras are out. She thinks it is so funny. |
fed the horses,
| All the little kids, in costumes and all, feeding the horses. |
and cooled off with popsicles.
| Allie's first taste of popsicle. She LOVED it. |
| Rian showing off her popsicle after a bad fall off the brick wall. |
It was perfect way to start one of my favorite holidays.

A fun day for sure. I love all the red, white and blue!
Wow, what a fun day! And a great way to start it too. All the kids in your family are so cute!!!
And that's cool you and Michelle live so close and can remain friends...she's the best!
I love family gatherings! Allie looks like such a content little girl! I just want to take her home and borrow her for a few days. I am use to little boys and can't wait for a little girl...well I mean I CAN WAIT a while, but eventually I would like a baby girl! I hope you have a great 24th tomorrow!
